Senior year photographs are the best! I truly just love documenting significant and transitional times and senior year is definitely one of those times… for the teen and the parents. There is so much excitement for the future and nostalgia for the recent past. It is a celebration for everyone when a child grows into an adult. I get emotional just thinking about my “little” ones getting to that point (we are in no hurry though!!).
These photographs are of then High School Senior, Myles (remember I am years late posting here!). When Myles’ mom reached out to me about the shoot she described Myles as “an urban kid that loves the wilderness”. I knew right then that I was going to like him and I was so right! Myles was very easygoing and fun. We had a great time roaming around some of my most favorite parts of the city! Fairmount seemed like a perfect fit because it is a perfect combination of city and nature. I used to live in Fairmount and it will forever hold a big piece of my heart.
Myles, I know you are off in the world now surely doing wonderful things! I hope it as exciting and as fabulous as you had hoped! Cheers to you!! 🙂
