Wow, so it has been over a year since I first started photographing Lucia as a newborn! It is amazing how time flies…. I was so happy to photograph her first birthday party. Though the party had to be rescheduled because of the monster snowstorm (mentioned HERE), it turned out to be a great day. The party was held at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Cherry Hill. It is a beautiful restaurant and the food was outstanding! Yum!!! Lucia’s family and friends streamed in and all wanted a chance to hug and kiss (and get photos with!) the birthday girl. The party was complete with party hats, balloons, a tower of cupcakes, great Italian eats, a special hat, made by her super crafty mom, paired with the most adorable pink tutu skirt. It turned out perfect. Happy First Birthday, Lucia!!

I was so lucky to sit down and enjoy some of the delicious food. Everything is family style, which I love and there were lots of great choices. My favorites were the eggplant parm & the pound cake dessert. I got to sit, not only next to the birthday girl but also with her 2 adorable cousins. Here they are enjoying their food.
Doesn’t this make you think of the mashed potato scene in the Christmas story? So cute!
I love this picture. It just says happy to me. She is full from delicious food, sitting back and enjoying her milk.
