4th birthday portraits!

A referral from Indianapolis is how I got in touch with this wonderful family.  A couple of years back I had worked at a portrait studio, Celebrity Kids.  While working there I had the pleasure to meet and work with Jonathan Hawkins, a very talented Indianapolis photographer.  Jonathan now owns his own photography business.  His work is really wonderful as is his personality. If you happen to live or are ever in the area and have a want for creative portraits…. he is the photographer to call.  🙂

Anyway, Noah’s grandparent’s have consistently had their grandchildren photographed on their 4th birthday (or just after).  I think this is such a great tradition. Their grandson, Noah, actually lives in Broomall, PA and his family was in town visiting from Iowa.  With Jonathan’s referral, his grandmom contacted me and off I went to photograph this fun, smart, sporty and very talented little boy.

I had arrived a bit early and Noah was actually still in school.  As he turned the corner of the driveway with his grandmom, he came running to meet, greet and hug his cousin.  Too cute not to photograph, huh?

Here are 3 of his cousins as well as his younger brother, Joaquin, on the right…..  all beautiful and were so good and helpful during the portrait session.

Noah quickly got changed into his first “semi-formal” outfit.  I love the suit with the bare feet….  : )

Next…. it was time to golf.  Noah has quite an arm.  Although he was swinging at a small putting course, I watched through my camera as the ball flew just over my head!  A little lower and that really would have made for an interesting picture.

One more outfit…. and what else?  the Phillies!  I thought that Noah had an arm for golf, but his baseball skills were even more impressive.  He hit just about every ball thrown to him and each one really was “outta (t)here”.  Check out his pitcher’s stance too!

Lastly, some fun on the swings!
