okay…. though i ended up really loving my actual wedding dress…. i have to share the beauty of my grandmom’s dress. i tried it on long after my dress was already bought. even still…. i considered having a seamstress make some alterations and wear it on my wedding day instead. it turns out that i didn’t…. but i at least did a little self portrait photo shoot with it first. i adore the back…. however… my grandmom must have had a 10 inch waist. there was absolutely no way to get that thing buttoned up my back! i love the color, the simplicity of the lace and the magnificent details. and, of course, that it was my grandmom’s. 🙂
